Haman and the King

Here is something peculiar. Haman is the same gematria as Hamelech, the king (95). The commentators write that whenever it states Hamelech in the Megillah, it refers to HaShem. This being the case, what can the association be between Haman and Hamelech? Perhaps the answer is that the Gemara (Gittin 57b) states that the descendants of Haman studied Torah in Binei Brak (we will discuss what that means in the near future). The Gemara elsewhere (Ibid 62a) states that the rabbis are referred to as kings. Thus, Haman is associated with the King, because his descendants became kings, i.e. rabbis, in Binei Brak.
